I heard about this tonight and wanted to share. Thank you Jason at A Small Change for the tip.
There’s money being given away this week by Jeff at My Super-Charged Life (the post is Giveaway: Nominate your Favorite Charity For Cash Donation.)
All you have to do is write a comment on his blog post about your favorite charity and from those who have commented he will make a random selection. In the very least is a great way to get the word out about what your charity is doing. Other rules and details can be seen on his post.
Hurry up the deadline is Tuesday, December 9, at 5:00 pm Central time.
My favorite charity is Bridging Communiities, Inc., in Detroit, Michan.
They are doing, and have been doing for almost 30 years, the necessary work of caring for senior citizens who have limited or no means of their own.
It is truly a work of God to see such a small number of people at an organization take care of so many people! Their work, proverbially, churns wheat into gold! The dedicated people at BCI keep people alive, well, at peace, and in their homes!. This is truly at feat in such a time as there is now.
I love them and the work that they do!
Sounds like a great organization. Scoot over to My Supercharged Life and post there so you can get a chance to win! – Sandy
I love David Brainerd Christian School because of their focus on providing a great education in an awesome Christian Environment. Every subject is taught with a Christian veiw and the students take 7 levels of Bible classes as they progress there. Because they are a private, Christian school they are disqualified from receiving most of the local, state, and federal funds that are available to the public schools.
I would love to see them get this funding to help purchase some more lunch room seats. On rainy or cold days the students don’t go outside and utilize the picnic tables so they are very cramped and uncomfortable.
Thank you for considering us for these funds. DBCS is a well deserving school!
